Demoiselle

A lovely long walk this morning, mostly protected by beautiful clouds. I must have spent nearly half an hour trying to get photographs of grasshoppers but although there were hundreds of them, they kept moving whenever I tried to line up a shot.

Luckily the Banded Demoiselles were more cooperative and I got to play with my new camera's amazing zoom.

This afternoon I spent upwards of three hours working on my stool. The upper and lower steps are both complete now and I'm feeling really proud of my progress.
