Lauder

Quick trip down to Lauder for lunch at our favourite Firebrick. Box of Sunday roast to share and this week was pork. Not my favourite but still bloody delicious.
Lauder was buzzing in preparation for the Common Riding so lots of bunting and blue and yellow and some scarecrows like this one dotted about. Apparently this one is to commemorate the Lauder fish wives who brought their wares from Belhaven to sell in Lauder . Don’t quite know how that happened as they seem quite far apart, but no facts checker around :))
