Work in progress

Still back-blipping.

Beautiful day on Saturday, most of which was spent indoors or below ground unfortunately.  In the morning we went with the grandchildren to visit Mary King’s Close, old dwellings under the High Street in Edinburgh where the City Chambers now stands. A very interesting and entertaining tour - but no ghosts were seen (thankfully.) After a pizza lunch we went to the Playhouse to see Billionaire Boy which the children enjoyed.

I always find it strange to come out of the theatre into broad daylight, but it was nice to finally enjoy some of the sun.

The exciting blip for today is the new paving stones being laid in the next street. At least they’re finding a use for all these red barriers - I’m not sure how the bin lorry manages to empty the big black bin though.
