Pont du Gard

A very hot day and we did not do much besides a walk to the bakery for baquettes, reading and swimming. Early evening we set off to see the Pont du Gard, the roman aquaduct that used to deliver fresh water to Nîmes. It is an absolutely impressive construction. We then had a delicious dinner in Uzès.
