Happy Yorkshire Day!

Elaine and l had a lovely walk through the park and up Street Lane to Rand for a fabulous flat white must be in my top three of where to get the best cup of coffee.
Walked over to the deli for a take out sandwich and a bottle of water and went to eat them in the Speciality Gardens ( five gold medal gardens from the Chelsea Flower Show, created by Leeds Parks dept and transported back to Roundhay Park to go on permanent show).
We found a bench in a shady spot next to the Alhambra Garden but l took my shot of the Watermill Garden.
The waterwheel represents how this form of energy exploited the water that rolled down from the many Yorkshire hills to power the mills and other industry for 300 years.
Of course the mill house is constructed from Yorkshire stone ( same as my own home) and l thought it a suitable image to celebrate Yorkshire Day.
