Excursion

N enjoys driving, and I enjoy navigating, so it is surprising we don’t go out together more often. But today we got our act together and had a day out. We went down to the south coast. We avoided the big resorts and instead went to the little village of Bosham. It is situated on an inlet of the sea and is a popular sailing centre. The bay is filled at high tide, and the road in front of the houses is covered. Unwary tourists leave their cars unaccompanied, and return to find them inaccessible. A wider view in extra.
Leaving Bosham we found ourselves a good pub for lunch. We came home a different way with quieter roads. The countryside is beautiful, even though the fields are parched yellow.
