Crackle glaze

I had a lovely time at a picnic on the Cathedral green this afternoon, celebrating Sam's birthday. There were lots of us and LOTS of humus and carrot sticks (this is what happens when a dozen or so people bring the first thing that comes to mind to a picnic).
