Worms

Apparently worms do not have eyes. They have sensors which distinguish light from dark so they know when it's bedtime, but that's about their limit.

What's all that to do with Blip I hear you say!  Well today's Mono Monday theme hosted by Mole is 'worm's eye view'. So I could have presented a completely black, or white, picture, but that would have been a bit boring, not as boring as yesterday's blip, but fairly close.

Anyway I digress. This afternoon we visited the nearby St Peter's Garden Centre at Pear Tree Farm.  It's our first time there and we were quite impressed, a rival to The Farm near Stratford.  They have chickens, goats and pigs and a very nice nature walk by the lake, as well as a restaurant where we had coffee, and a cafe, where we'll have coffee next time.  They even have a small green grocers in the car park where I was able to get some celery and courgettes....missed from this morning's Tesco delivery.

Close by the second, much more friendly feeling, café, is a yurt, similar to the one they have at Bonds.  It was closed off in preparation for a private do but I managed to take a quick peep inside, and take a 'worms eye view' photo of the yurt's opening in the roof, decked out with globes and decorations.  The tall structure is the chimney from the wood burning stove.
