Wanderings and meanders

Victoria Street

Edinburgh

A day trip for visitors wouldn't be complete without a walk up the most photographed street in the city.

Some variation to the reconnaissance walk was needed. To source sustenance and to hunt out Potter connected sites. There were also distractions, like bagpipes and a kitten on a lead. Then people had tired feet so no final hilltop view. Still, the eight year old thanked me for "a wonderful day"; so can't have been too bad a tour.

Late afternoon family catch up - some who haven't seen each other for far too long and introducing some who have never met before.
