Fayre

In the morning MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr did CyclopsJnr's packing and watched a bit of Commonwealth Games Judo.

We then went back to Ocean Terminal as they were holding a community summer fayre in the old Debenhams. It was so good! They had many many stalls and activities, we were there hours. Tombola, hoopla, pin the mustache on the picture, nerf shooting, football challenge, crafts, dancing, circus skills including diablo and hula hooping. We tried it all! CyclopsJnr spent longest at two activities - a model railway where you had to control the tracks to shunt carriages (hanging out with a bunch of extremely patient retired guys!), and an electronics stall where another kind soul helped him to make a motor powered musical instrument. Everyone was so nice with the kids! CyclopsJnr came away with a lot of sweets! And it was all free except the tombola which was £1. Amazing. What a good use of an empty shop.

Later CyclopsJnr eventually consented to let MrsCyclops cut his hair.
