Not everyone who appreciates WWII vintage aircraft (Warbirds) sports a military issue haircut (or uniform). This is a P-38J Lightning, made by Lockheed in the mid-1930s as a long-range fighter/bomber. At the time, one of the most technically-advanced airplanes in the air.
