Anns a' bhaga

I spent the first part of this  morning focusing on comparatives and superlatives in Gaelic (as you do !) .

I then turned my attention to the finances of the Bonfire Committee - counting the proceeds for the Raffle we held at the weekend and preparing for tonight's AGM.

The raffle had a great response with lots of prizes donated by local businesses and we raised just over £1300.  We've also received money donations and are running a thrift shop later in the month. This means that in addition to covering this years costs we will have money to secure next year's event.

I banked the notes and a cheque (third time inside the bank in as many weeks !) and collected these bags to put the coins in.
