Hazelnuts

It was regular volunteering session at the ponds today where most of the activities were clearing vegetation from paths and removing Himalayan Balsam, with the inevitable litter picking. It was warm and very windy.
The extra isn't very exciting but it shows the water flows between the 2 ponds which is a result of the work on Sunday. We couldn't clear the lade to one pond but the one to the other was cleared and is flowing well with the cleared channel between the 2 also now flowing as is in the pic. There was quite a lot of rain last night so, between the two, the water levels are much more healthy.
The rest of the day involved lots of small jobs and a bit of time relaxing.
