The bilberries are now ripe enough to eat comfortably. These ones were photographed before going into my breakfast. Blackcurrants were also added for the first time this summer, though still a little tart. A half-dozen redcurrants also went in, just for the kick. They are always sour and just now are still super so. The last of the blue honeysuckle / haskap berries also went into breakfast.
Today we were also getting ready for our next trip with 'Arry the camper van. It's a little unusual because we are heading north to the wedding of Claire's daughter, Louise. We've had to make a space to hang ironed clothes!
