Wow! ....

...we over here in the west are into the third day of storms with gale force winds, hail, heavy rain and hail. 
The Driver and I ventured down to Canal Rocks as 9 metre swell was predicted. It was  awe -inspiring as the wind was determined to blow us over and the waves were unrelenting. 

The bridge you can see at the bottom of this image is where we usually stand to take photos of the waves gently running underneath us. Today the bridge was blocked off. Out of bounds. Forbidden. (I wasn't tempted!)
