Birthday Girl

Happy Birthday Sam.
Twenty-Four and the last one left at home. Sam has plans, these include clearing and moving into Joshua’s old room in order to convert her current room into a studio for her art.
Even at her age she remains a cheeky monkey, easy to please when it comes to birthday gifts though as it normally means books.

So today Mrs S set about slaying the laundry monster before we headed off to shop together which included a gluten, nut, milk and wheat free birthday cake, would be interesting to know what it’s actual ingredients are!

One of the supermarkets is doing a Spanish promotion so we stocked on Spanish style products and had a help yourself style Spanish tapas/salad dinner followed by Birthday Cake.
Sam enjoyed her gifts with the promise of an all expenses paid mystery tour on Thursday and a book that was ordered and paid for weeks ago and is “in course of supply” from the U.S.

Travelling and visiting family is always good but to be home in our own bed is great and there is something satisfying about using your own shower.

All we need now is for Joshua to sort out some leave and then for Tiana and him to hit the road south for a visit.
