Ramblings from Zambia....

Painted faces

Had a great day in CapeTown doing the tourist bit with a Malawian colleague. Went to Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela had been imprisoned for 17 years) on a slightly rolling sea, and then went up Table Mountain in the cable car - fabulous views from the top. Around 30 minutes after out descent, the mist rolled in and you couldn't see the mountain so we were lucky!

At the V&A waterfront there are many talented musicians playing different genres of music including jazz which is a favourite of mine. Today there were these amazingly talented buys playing percussion instruments and they had a mega crowd around them because of their painted bodies and their costumes. Took many pictures today of street scenes but loved the colour in this one!

Tomorrow off to Stellenbosch for the conference......what a life eh???
