Unobtrusive ...

... is an often-used description of the Varied Triller. It's so unobtrusive that, in 50 years of bird-watching, I think this is the first time I've seen it. At the time, it was catching insects in a small patch of coastal rainforest, on our walk to the lookout. I'm inclined to think it's a female, though I can't be sure - the male-female differences are not great, there are several subspecies and the light in the rainforest was poor.
