Robots are taking over

Maker Faire UK at the Centre for Life this weekend. Brilliant stuff but wow so many robots involved in all kinds of things. The robot DJ and pole dancers were a little disturbing and this shot is off a robot making complex scarfs with amazing accuracy.

The kids loved make a jelly fish fly (so simple paper bun cases with tissue legs floated up an clear tube with air blowing out of the bottom). Make a planet was good (balloons stuffed with different items to make different feeling planets - rice for earth/rocky, cotton wool for gasey. Kate made a planet bracket with all the planets on with correct distances. We made badges. Had to fill the blank "I make ....." Kate chose hearts soo sweet she does doodle them all the time and is perfect because she is so loving. We agreed on the word noise for Matthew.
