Power!

Battersea power station as we passed it in the train to get to Croyden today.   

We were lucky as our son was able to take us to the station by car.  Our train was crowded. At the end there were people standing all along the central aisle! 

Arriving in Euston is a shock to the system! So many people! All crisscrossing the main hall.  Then the heat as you go down in the tube.  Not so bad in Victoria. The train to Croyden was not too crowded.  We found the hotel and our room.  A cup of coffee and we were off to buy a couple of things forgotten and on to Wagamama’s for our evening meal! Delicious as usual! 

Took a number of photos but this was our favourite.  Ro helped choose.  The power station used to be black when I was a child but now it no longer serves to produce power.  But is being changed into a smart London district!

Both exhausted with plenty to do tomorrow. Night night folks!
