Below Great Head

Let me announce prologue
Before that great sable curtain, Eternity!
At its base bum seven thousand suns.
About its arch the stars hang; before its face
Floats the music of the spheres.
An instant man passeth, clothed in motley,
With a pack of tricks, laughs, weeps,
Gives utterance to a few short words-
And behold-the curtain riseth!

The Day's Prologue, by Pearl Curran (aka. Patience Worth)

Successfully avoided the heat by leaving the house and going for a short walk around Great Head first thing. I took the extra, including Sand Beach and the Beehive, mostly to document how dry it's been here. Normally the wetland area would be full of water with a channel cutting across the beach and pouring into the ocean. Today is was mostly just a big shallow puddle.
