Staycation, day 12: tomorrow we will hold the annual family BBQ.

For one of the deserts I planned on making Delia Smith's strawberry cheesecake. It's a foolproof recipe, and one I fall back on often, and I prepped the base in advance

Recently we've had a glut of rhubarb, so I gently cooked it, together with stem ginger in syrup, and sugar. It made a great topping, and a more seasonal substitute instead of strawberries.
