Laughs and chips

Watching cricket in the afternoon and a run along the old railway line at Penicuik.
Then out up the toon in the evening with H.
Wine, snacks, shows, chips - and train home. Great fun.
First show was chosen by H - Tom Seals presents .. He’s a jazz singer and pianist, and had different guests along to each night of his show for a bit of a chat, and to sing some songs of their choice. Tonight was Janey Godley - what a treat. She is such a character and a perfect guest - lots of laughs and stories, and talked a bit about her recent cancer and treatment.
Follow that .. Next show was selected by checking what was on near by - Your Aunt Fanny. Muff Said . Proved a good choice- comedy sketches by a group of women from Newcastle (possibly). Very funny, polished act. And then finally we grabbed some chips and made our way down to the train- meeting up with another pal who was also out on the town, and luckily gave us a lift home. Hic..
