The walls have eyes

Another shot taken in Portchester Castle from our visit yesterday.  Plenty of opportunities to take photos of derelict walls within the grounds! It's fun imagining what this magnificent building might have looked like in its hey day and it is good that part of the Castle is still in tact, remarkably it still has its surrounding wall  (complete with some Roman tiles)  and it is claimed that this is  one of the finest examples of a Roman fort in Europe ! Well I don't think I would put it to the test.
