Fairy Ensnared

We used to call floating seed heads like this one 'fairies' when I was very young. I'd forgotten that, until I noticed this one in the garden, stuck in a web. After taking this pic I released it back into the wind.

Thanks to all the kind folk who've asked for an update on my eye. It seems to be healing steadily and the vision is a little clearer each day. I'm still needing to stay home most of the time, close to the fridge full of eyedrops administered every 2 hours. It's a lesson in patience! I am back to the eye surgeon on 17 August for a full assessment and hopefully may get the stiches in my eye removed then also.
