Dried flowers

Another hot, sunny day.

This morning I had a phone call with a friend I've known for years, good to catch up.  After that I made almond and orange biscuits and a mincemeat cake.  A friend came for coffee and we sat in the shade in the garden.
Did a load of washing, had lunch and went to sea a friend for a cup of tea this afternoon. Came home, washing dry brought in and ironed.  Watered the potted plants in the garden and the tomatoes.  Took this photo of some flowers that I had let dry, blip done. K. called in on his way home. he has driven a long way to do a 20+ mile walk but felt very good having  done it!  I certainly couldn't have done that in this heat or probably not if it had been cold!
