Butt of Lewis

We’ve had a great day touring Lewis after a very tasty and filling breakfast (we basically skipped lunch as a result!). Despite the predicted wet weather, we seem to have largely missed it and although it is windy, it has been quite warm.

Right at the top of the island is the Butt of Lewis lighthouse which was a must see. We visited several fabulous beaches too and the Calanais standing stones (see extra).

This evening we’ve had a fabulous cold platter at our b&b with the other guests.

p.s. Camera update, it has worked intermittently on and off some of the day so I’ve doubled up shooting on both camera and phone - you’re getting phone photos as I have no card reader and would usually use Wi-fi to transfer images but that seems to particularly upset it, I’ve tried all the suggested tips and tricks (thanks for the comments and advice) to fix but without success so it’s back to Canon when we get home.
