Avoiding the camera

Of course Peggy Sue can't easily avoid my camera but she can avoid looking at it as she does here.  Firstly there was an elaborate cleaning routine then no doubt felled by the heat, she lay back and relaxed but in none of the many phone pics that I took did she actually look at the camera!

In other news: before going out into the garden Mr MC and I did our final stint in Violet's room, getting everything into place and changing the bedsheets.  The family room opposite will have to wait  for all the stuff that we've piled in there to be sorted and either put away or cleared.  This coming week we are promised a return of the very high temperatures so any work on the top floor will be very slow going indeed!
