Juxtaposition

Taken from the hill in Fort Royal Park it looks like the office building has a spire on its roof. This is due to the juxtaposition of the office block with  Glover's Needle . 

The spire used to sit on St Andrews Church prior to the church's demolition. It holds the record of being the tallest spire in the country, 245 feet with such a narrow angle of taper. It has been taken over by the RSPB who have installed webcams to watch the birds of prey roosting.
