The Best and the Worst

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness...."

A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens and is an excellent example of literary juxtaposition.

The long hot summer during the holiday season is welcomed by many but the searing heat, wilting plants and risk of fires is certainly not. Much of my garden is gone for now and yet this little flower has appeared against all odds. Nothing behind it shows as nothing behind it lives.
