Sandra

She was the sweetest of friends, beautiful inside and out.

We met in Canada in the 1960's, and remained friends through thick and thin, they settled back home in Dunfermline, her home town, and we have lots of shared memories of when the children were small, caravanning in the summertime and hillwalking too.

Cali, Bob and I drove through today with heavy hearts.  The service was beautiful, the minister talked a lot of Sandra and shared memories of the family.  Chloe, her granddaughter, is a talented saxophonist, and she played 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' a great favourite of Sandra.  As we exited the chapel, her grandson Oli and a friend played bagpipes and drums to the tune of 'Highland Cathedral'.

There was a large group at the hotel afterwards and we were able to share memories of Sandra with others.  She will be missed.
