Golden Field

We are looking after our neighbour's Westie this week.  He is such an easy dog to host.  Out for his early evening constitutional we walked past this cut field, the contrasting stubble and blue sky appealed to my Landscapers eye.  Only had my mobile phone though.  

Farmers should be ploughing now, preparing the ground for their winter crops. There is no point though  as the ground is so hard and dry the soil will turn to dust.  One short shower of rain in two months, if that isn't drought then I don't know what is.
