The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Perfect weather for a ride on my early 1970's French bike  (Monsieur Le Carre)... for just the first 13kms that is, when the dreaded feeling of a flat tyre made itself known. Being a tubular tyre that had failed round its valve, I had no option but to turn back and ride very slowly home (tubulars are safe to ride on, so long as you avoid potholes and sharp edges.)
I was feeling a bit sorry for myself, but then I spotted these poor sheep, who had a lot more to complain about.
Extra: I couldn't stay vexed with it for too long, as it's such a nice old bike.
