Milvus milvus

What I like particularly about the place where we live is the proximity to nature. We can sit outside and here/see so many wild animals. Often big birds like storks circle high above us, using the updraft to save energy.

The red kites do the same, when they pass from one side of our village to the other. And they appear to be looking down at (amongst other things) us, as can be seen in this picture. Here's looking at you.

A funny thing to watch is when small birds, like sparrows, swallows, hunt the birds of prey. It looks like they just want to enjoy the flight, and then come those nasty little bastards and disturb the peacefulness.
