Magical golden glow

There was an amazing sunset this evening. Those trees are on the eastern side of our house and they were picking up the reflected colours from the sunset. They look as though they are full of golden autumn leaves, but in fact all these trees are completely bare of leaves. So where does that fiery golden glow come from?
