New Neighbours

We've got a couple of new neighhh bours (excuse the pun) moved into the field nearby. They're young and have run up to the fence to say hi every day, but I thought this pic of them happily wandering around looking for the best grass was quite apt for a warm, no hot morning where zoom is not playing. It’s the hub, not zoom and extremes in weather hot, cold, windy, rainy, leaves on trees, leaves off trees seem to leave it wondering what to do.

The main symbols that depict the horse are courage and freedom. They also conjure up images of power, independence, freedom, nobleness, endurance, confidence, triumph, heroism, and competition. Makes me think of the skills adult learners get in community led learning.

One of the group members reminded me yesterday that the Kelpies are of horse spirit, shape changing aquatic creatures and are said to haunt rivers and streams. Think the two in the field nearby are not likely to be doing that but they’ve grown in confidence these past few days and that’s always a good place to start.
