Homeward Bound

………………………through a force 8 gale! Thankfully things calmed a little as we approached the Faroe Islands…seen in my blip in full technicolour this afternoon! (I’m sure there’ll be houses there somewhere!) Added an extra taken after tea, as we’re now in the lee of the islands things are considerably calmer and we’ve finally been out on deck for some much needed fresh air.

Last nights meal was absolutely delicious with a stunning view off the stern to the east coast of Iceland…the wind rose pretty quick though and by the time we’d eaten it was too stormy to go out for a photo.

A very rock and roll night ensued and this morning we had hot stone massages booked which proved a little surreal in a storm. We then retired to catch up on some sleep before lunch…at this point L succumbed to seasickness, though quickly recovered after throwing up! We’re currently enjoying afternoon tea after missing lunch.
