Harvesting….

I just love watching these machines at work…I thought I had missed seeing one close up this year as most of the fields around us have been cut. The big field behind our house had not be cut and as I went out early for my walk I did notice the combine blade on its trailer at the edge of the field and I though the machine would be in action as I returned.

However, no sign of action, but later as I was in the garden I could hear engines and ‘reversing beeps’…so I grabbed my camera bag and went out again… and there they were….

So here we have a mighty combine in action and in extras it has just dumped a load of grain into the trailer.

I did spend rather too long just watching this ballet….
