Harvest done . .

Had a trip into the country this afternoon to visit folks I used to play Bridge and Scrabble with pre-Covid. It was lovely to see them and catch up with all their news.
The fields around them have all been harvested - many large trucks taking the bales into barns etc passed the house through the afternoon.
The garden where we enjoyed tea was cool thankfully, and being on the other side of the house, away from the noise of lorries/trucks/tractors etc.
