Hotting up

One of those days when pedestrians are treated as 3rd class citizens. Won’t go into detail or rant (happy ‘evolybab’?). Suffice it to say this country really doesn’t always support the elderly, vulnerable, disadvantaged well. Cycles and cars rule here.

Was at the eye clinic for cataract follow up. They feel everything is OK, and put the ongoing tired/achey eyes down to dry eye syndrome. With luck will continue to improve. Return in 4 months.

Going for an evening walk now before it’s too dark.

NB Blip is of the bus stop to the hospital. Swelteringly hot, in full sun. Needed to sit down, but would have passed out there. So stood for 20 mns in the shade of a tree waiting for a delayed bus. That was another part of the rant.
