Edinburgh Festival visit #1 2022

I went through to the Edinburgh Festival today on the train. It was extremely busy waiting in Queen Street Station to get on the train, very busy on the train and very busy at Waverley Station on arrival. I’ve not used public transport much over the past few years so this was a bit of a shock to the system! 
Met my friend to view the ‘A Taste for Impressionism’ exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy then had a wander along Princes Street Gardens in the hot sunshine. 
Lunch in the Filmhouse followed by ‘Burn’ at the Kings Theatre.
It would be hard to describe the dance-theatre show but I really enjoyed the musical score  by Anna Meredith and Alan Cumming was wonderful as Robert Burns. 
Heading back next Tuesday for a bit more culture.
