Looking for jeans (genes)

My father had the great idea of looking into the past at our family tree . As I have been unfit for work for sometime, I thought I'd give him some help as I Am more suited To computer than he is ( he is 81 after all )
Well lets say its not as easy as "Who do you think you are " tv show .
If your thinking of doing it, get as much information off living relatives before its to late . Dates,places,children's names and the more you know the more it is to find the right person .
It has been interesting , but also hard work, if you have not got all the facts you need !
