Over the mountains

To Lochgilphead we went. I like the slow ascents more than yesterday's coastal route. My muscles are more suited to that.
The allergic reaction to the mosquito bites is clearly visible on my face and arms. I get advice from nice people ranging from Avon Ever so Soft or Smidge to crushed pinecones. I actually need something to stop the itching. I removed two ticks today.

The route we cycle is beautiful by the way. It is not an existing route, although we sometimes follow route 78. Cycling routes often avoid the major roads, so unpaved roads are also used. We prefer to drive on a major road, provided it is not too busy.

The campsite is nice. We are very close to the centre of the village. A warm hot meal is awaiting.
