Starry Starry Night

“Paint your palette blue and grey….). Not something I have done since I was a kid but L got me this paint by numbers of my favorite artist and I managed to complete it after about 6 weeks of doing a bit each day. I can’t paint to save my life and I was a little curious as to how much I might enjoy doing this but it was a little like the Pink Floyd tribute band - as I painted hundreds of different shapes in 21 different colours I began to appreciate on a whole different level just how amazing the original creation was to end up looking like it does! Anyway it’s going to be framed now so it can go up in a room somewhere - and I have now got a taste for possibly doing another of his paintings
