Peacock Butterfly

Walking through the walled garden in Pollok Park I was aware of a butterfly flying past me ..... not seen many this summer.

The task was to track it and spot where it landed ..... having reached its favoured spot on top of a Yellow Ox Eye Daisy the Peacock stayed put long enough for me to find it and take a quick pic.

So, so hot today .... much too hot for me. I'm fine if I keep moving but I just cannot sit outside in those sweltering temperatures.
