Diesel 101

This little diesel gem was in action today as part of our local rail preservation societies Diesel Gala (Keighley and Worth Valley Railway). The Gala attracted many visitors from all parts of the country and the station was about the busiest I've ever seen it. I know steam trains have a great many fans, but it seems that diesels have just as strong a following. In my picture, platform 3 is finally quiet, all passengers having been safely loaded on board and as soon as the last door is closed, the train will leave for one of the little wayside stations along the line. '101' relates to the actual diesel engine, class 101 DMU railbus/multiple unit, and is how it was described on the timetable. Nothing at all to do with 'Room 101'.
