Wild weaving

Anna took the weaving group to Leighton Moss  this afternoon, for some wild weaving! It was a super hot day, so after some refreshments in the café we headed out to find a shady spot with some benches. Just by the dipping pond seemed ideal, so we settled in and got started.
We were visited by a hungry robin and several ducks!
It’s lovely to work outdoors as you can really see the colours of the yarn, and it’s a lovely natural environment with none of the interruptions you can get elsewhere.
I was really getting going on my little piece when people started packing up, and I realised it was 4.30 already! I will carry on with it at home, maybe trying weaving in the garden!
