Flowers for Melvin

We had a lovely little ceremony for Melvin today. Some of G’s friends brought him flowers and we took some as well and told stories of this dear old well loved cat. G had buried him in the backyard and and there were some very special moments, we covered the grave in flowers - tears were shed.  
It was raining and we eventually went back inside and watched some videos of when he was a tiny kitten, more tears were shed!  In the end we all agreed he’d had a brilliant life and would never be forgotten.
