Wearing purple...

Another scorcher...

...but we toddled off to Holmfirth early while it was still relatively cool...

Had a chat with Martin at YourPC and decided on an all in one PC with a bigger screen, and he's going to extract the hard drive from my defunct laptop and effectively make it into a plug in external brain.

Decision made, we stopped for coffee at the excellent Holme Coffee House, and then couldn't resist the poached eggs on sourdough for brunch.

Popped next door to the market in the Methodist Church Hall, and bought Borage honey for us, and one for Sue and for my sister while we were there... And some sausages :)

This aft Roy has pottered in the garden with copious breaks for water and/or tea. He's busy chopping the hedge between us and Graham down to a reasonable height, and at the far end he found this old abandoned nest so I've blipped it for the derelict challenge.

I've pegged washing out and avoided the sun - we've had curtains closed at the front windows, and managed to create a lovely through draught. At the back we've been able to keep the door open and pop in and out of the garden, and seek shade under the big parasol - the breeze has made all the difference!

Time for gin and nibbles in the garden now - catch you later :)
