I have been asked to do a ground tour for sponsors and guests on match day and today was my first outing. It is only a brief tour, before the pre-match meal, but it has thrown out my normal routine and it is all done and dusted by 1:30 so I had plenty of time to observe what was going on. Today's blip shows injured player Jamie Morgan getting some exercise as Lewis Earl watches on crutches.

As for the match Chester were excellent against the team that finished runners up last season. It was a great way for Calum to start his first home match in charge and after scoring twice in the first 20 minutes they managed the game brilliantly. It bodes well and there is a great deal of positivity surrounding the club.
